For a youth bat that hones in on speed and feel, the 2019 Easton Beast Speed Hybrid USA bat will provide plenty pop. During our evaluation, our team concluded that the level of power generated from the Voodoo stems from its ability to maximize a batter’s fundamentals and hitting skills. The aluminum material composed within the barrel is not designed for home runs, yet over 50% of the solid connections made didn’t touch the field until 40 feet past the infield. Measuring The Durability Of The 2019 Easton Beast Speed Hybrid:

Throughout the evaluation process, each USA bat takes a beating. Our staff centralizes most of our data on how well a bat does when solid contact is made. When poor contact is made that stems from a bad swing from the volunteer, we do not record those attempts unless the poor swings are due to poor balance within the barrel. When considering the 250 solid swings coupled with all the other foul tips, foul pops and grounders, the Beast Hybrid held up well incurring minor dings, scratches, and scuffs cosmetically speaking. One of our trial Beast Speeds had a rattling sound with the barrel where something obviously broke.

Much like the Beast X of last year, the 2019 Easton Beast Speed Hybrid  USA bat is a fan favorite among our volunteers and garnered high scores from our staff. The Beast Hybrid will give youth ball players the confidence, control, and balanced required for attaining a consistent amounts of level swings when ripping through the strike zone. Anticipate this bat to hold an actual weight of 1.5 oz.- 2 oz. heavier than what’s stamped on the barrel which is fairly typical among metal youth bats.
